County Council Highlights
 
Summer is here, and County Council observing continues! Longtime member Lynda Mayer reported on the June 10 County Council Regular Meeting. One highlight was the awarding of five large Community Development Fund Grant awards, including a $1 million grant to the County Land Bank for its Stimulating Household Projects in District 10 project. These monies will be used to upgrade properties in parts of Cleveland Heights and East Cleveland. You can find all of the County Council reports here.
Rally Time, and Nonpartisan Reminder
 
If you attend any  rallies this summer that are not sponsored by the League of Women Voters and that are partisan, please do not wear any LWV clothing, hats, bags or buttons. In our very partisan times, it is important that we retain and protect our non-partisan reputation. THANK YOU!

Roster Manager News
 
Ilene Schwartz is taking over Roster Manager duties from Sarah Divakarla. This LWVGC Board position isn't high profile, but it is so important. The Roster Manager keeps all of our membership information in order. Thank you Sarah, and welcome Ilene!
