LWVGC Night at the Cavs

Cleveland Ward 5 Candidate Event
 
Please let your friends and family in Ward 5 know about this candidate forum tonight, October 16 at the  Jerry Sue Thornton Center of Tri-C from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Candidates are Rebecca Maurer and Richard Starr. Ample free parking.
No Kings Rally
 
The League of Women Voters US is a sponsor of the No Kings rallies occurring this Saturday, October 18, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Free Stamp Sculpture, Willard Park, Cleveland. If you attend and wear any LWV gear, please remember that LWV is non-partisan.
Roadblocks to Registering to Vote - Submit Comments by 10/20/25
 
You have the chance to voice your concerns about a recent effort by the Election Assistance Commission to require documentary proof of citizenship to the federal voter registration form. This requirement would not change state voter registration forms, but it is seen as a backdoor method to suppress voter registration.
