The Government Shutdown is Affecting Democracy

Bruce Robinson has communicated the sad news that Naturalization Ceremonies have been suspended until the government shutdown ends. So far in 2025 League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland volunteers have registered 937 new citizens to vote! Let's hope the shutdown ends soon so that we can continue this vital work in the service of democracy.

Night at the Cavs a Huge Success

Thank you to everyone involved in the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland Night at the Cavs Game on Sunday, November 2nd.  It was a true team effort to get the word out this fall and connect with thousands of fans that evening.  We handed out over 4000 bracelets to those in attendance from a kiosk on the main concourse.  Our tickets sales fundraiser brought both funds to the League and a fun evening for members from throughout the area.  See you next year!
