2026 is a Big Year
This midterm year Ohioans will be electing a new governor, a U.S. Senator and two Ohio Supreme Court justices. Three key elected positions in Ohio are term limited; Auditor, Attorney General and Secretary of State, and all three terms are up in 2026. The Senate race is likely to generate a lot of interest nationally, and money and disinformation will be flooding the state.
The 2026 primary is fast approaching. New regulations regarding when mail-in ballots must be received by the Board of Elections (no four day window after Election Day) will make it harder for many people to have their vote counted. Confusion about who can vote in a primary is also likely to lead to fewer people casting ballots.
It is more important than ever that we take steps to dispel disinformation, and to spread the word about peoples' voting rights. Please stay tuned for more information - and opportunities to make a difference.
