Opportunities for Action

Last chance to participate in Program Planning

If you weren't able to attend last Sunday's program planning in Shaker Heights, please try to make it this Sunday, February 8, in Rocky River.

Before the meeting, please review the materials that you will receive via email from Candace Martin after you register. During the meeting you will have a chance to discuss the program priorities for the League of Women Voters of the US, learn about proposals from Leagues around the country, and suggest a program or study that could be undertaken locally. You can register here.

Enjoy Suffs and support the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland

Join other League members on Sunday, February 15 to see the play SUFFS at Playhouse Square. Support LWVGC and chat with fellow members at the pre-show social fundraiser at 4:30 PM at DISTRICT, across from the Hanna Theatre.

All Member Zoom With Take-Action Ideas

The Outreach team will be holding an all member zoom call on Thursday, March 5 from 7-8 PM in preparation for the May 5 primary. We will talk about new laws affecting mail-in voting, misinformation about who is eligible to vote, resources available to voters, and actions you can take to help get out the vote.

Participants will learn about a range of options to get involved - from actions that take only 2-3 minutes to others that take a bit more effort.

Please save the date. A registration link will be available soon.
