Election Protection
 

Sign up to be part of Election Protection | The closer we get to the midterms, the more intense the false rhetoric around elections and election processes is going to be. That makes the work of

 Election Protection especially essential this year. We are going to need more people to help ensure eligible voters have their votes counted here in Ohio—please consider joining us! Volunteering for Election Protection could mean a variety of things, from transporting signs and posting on social media to answering the 866-OUR-VOTE hotline or being an Election Day volunteer.

League of Women Voters Day of Action is August 8
 
Register new voters with the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland at the 2026 Cleveland Back to School Festival on August 8 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The location is the Cleveland Public Auditorium, 500 Lakeside Ave. East, Cleveland, Ohio, 44114. Free parking at the Willard Garage.
Voter Registration Training
 
Sign up for voter registration training in Shaker Heights on Saturday, August 29 at the Shaker Heights Public Library, 16500 Van Aken Blvd., Shaker Heights, Ohio 44120. Learn the ins and outs of registering voters - including all the new regulations. Register at bit.ly/Aug29LWV.

Planning is underway for an in-person Opening Meeting on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The morning session will be for new members and members who want to find out more about the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland. After lunch there will be sessions for new and old members. Everyone will have a chance to meet other members of the League, find out what the various committees do, learn about our Strategic Mission, and explore volunteer opportunities.
