Observers are the eyes and ears of the League, enabling us to understand how government works, track significant issues, and promote governmental transparency. 

LWVGC observers cover meetings of the Cuyahoga County Council and the Westshore Council of Governments. Their reports can be found below.

Several chapters (Cleveland Heights-University Heights and Shaker Heights) have observer corps for their communities. See those chapter pages to view their reports.

We need more observers!

With more observers we can cover more public bodies, such as appointed boards, commissions, committees, and library boards, as well as elected councils and school boards.
